Management
The Heynen family – founders and drivers
Over the last 80 years, the founding family Heynen has been able to develop the medium-sized company from a traditional manufacturer of hand tools into a recognized partner of the automotive industry. The decisive factor for the company’s success was the entrepreneurial family’s sure instinct for the needs of the markets and its personal relationships with customers, employees, suppliers and other stakeholders. The willingness to seek out new entrepreneurial opportunities has enabled new business areas to be opened up. The third generation of the Heynen family is now in charge. They have accepted the challenge of further developing the company strategically and positioning HEYCO optimally for the upcoming paradigm shifts in the automotive world.
“Speed and flexibility secure the competitive advantage and thus our existence in our medium-sized family business.
I am happy and proud to be able to work with a workforce whose commitment is second to none.”

The HEYCO Management Board
The management team consisting of Markus Heynen, Jörn Krüger and Dirk M. Schibisch focuses on the company’s customer orientation and the opportunities offered by new technologies.
Markus Heynen
After completing his degree in industrial engineering and working for several years at Land Rover in England, Markus Heynen officially joined HEYCO on January 1, 2000. After working with his father Ernst Peter Heynen for several years, he took over the management of the company in 2009 and continued the successful family tradition of permanently aligning HEYCO with the needs of the various markets. It is particularly important to Markus Heynen that, despite the now highly diversified business areas and decentralized organizational structure, the medium-sized family business HEYCO continues to build on its strengths: this means maintaining competitive advantages through speed and flexibility and thus securing HEYCO’s existence.
Jörn Krüger
The business administration graduate brought his many years of international experience to the table when he took over sales in the forged components division in 2013. At the beginning of 2016, he was appointed division manager there and since then has managed the traditionally strong division in close coordination with the plant management until he was appointed to the management board at the beginning of 2017. Jörn Krüger is focusing on the further integration of various manufacturing processes and is expanding the machining production of complex components in addition to solid forming. Jörn Krüger is thus strategically positioning the Forged Components division for the future, which will also lie outside the powertrain sector.
Dirk M. Schibisch
The graduate industrial engineer brings with him around two decades of intensive site development and management experience, including abroad, as a supplier to the automotive industry. Dirk M. Schibisch has held several management positions in sales and marketing of products requiring explanation and most recently headed the automotive division with sales, development and design of an international machine tool manufacturer. He joined the management of HEYCO at the end of 2016. Dirk M. Schibisch’s central task is to align the Plastics Division with the new technologies and megatrends in the global automotive industry: electromobility and automated driving.
